Its time to punish terrorists: Ravi Kishan on the Gorakhnath Temple attack

Published

on

Even as the inquiry into the Gorakhnath temple attack continues, BJP MP Ravi Kishan stated on Saturday that it was not the time to sit and ask questions about what happened, but rather to punish the ‘terrorist and killer’ who was involved in the attack. He also voiced displeasure with SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav’s words about the attack, describing himself as “shocked.” Akhilesh Yadav has previously questioned the case’s conduct and urged investigators to ‘pay attention to the accused’s mental health.

“If the police had not stopped the attacker, he would have killed the worshippers present at the temple,” Ravi Kishan told ANI.

The BJP MP said that the attack was well-planned and that the case had terror connections.

On April 3, a guy named Ahmad Murtaza Abbasi attacked police officers near Gorakhpur’s Gorakhnath Temple. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was slated to visit the temple the next day when this tragedy occurred.

Abbasi attacked two police officers with a sharp blade, injuring them severely. According to reports, Abbasi was accompanied by another man who managed to flee as the accused was overcome by the police. According to preliminary research, he was motivated by banned Islamic speaker Zakir Naik and may have ISIS ties, according to security services.

Amit Shah’s Hindi outreach, according to Ravi Kishan.

BJP MP Ravi Kishan responded to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s Hindi language push by expressing his support for the initiative and condemning opposition leaders’ criticism.

“Everyone speaks and knows Hindi,” he remarked, accepting Hindi as a viable substitute for English.

Amit Shah had previously stated on Thursday that Hindi should be regarded as an alternative to English rather than a local language. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has decided that the Official Language will be the medium of running the government, and this will undoubtedly raise the importance of Hindi,” Shah remarked as he presided over the 37th meeting of the Parliamentary Official Language Committee. Now is the moment to make the Official Language an integral element of the country’s togetherness.”
