The Kashmir Files is appreciated by PM Narendra Modi

Published

While chairing a BJP parliamentary meeting on Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the recently released film ‘The Kashmir Files,’ which is about the Kashmiri Hindu massacre. According to him, the film delivers facts-based truths. He claimed that, like The Kashmir Files, movies about celebrities and key events following independence should be made.

PM Modi lambasted the so-called liberals who tried to reject the entire plot as fiction, even though it is based on true events, in an excerpt from the meeting posted by BJP leader Amit Malviya. Since the publication of the film, he claims that the entire “Jamaat” (environment) of people who claim to support freedom of expression and speech has been profoundly confused.

The film’s entire ecosystem has started a full-fledged discrediting campaign: Modi is the Prime Minister of India.

“Rather than engaging in healthy arguments based on facts and realities, this entire ecosystem has launched a full-fledged campaign to trash the movie.” This ecology is hell-bent on condemning an individual who has the bravery, to tell the truth. They also refuse to comprehend or enable others to do so. They refuse to embrace reality, and they do not want the truth to be revealed in front of the entire world. PM Modi observed, “The type of campaign that has been undertaken against the film in the last few days is remarkable.”

“My goal is not to promote a specific film; all I want to say is that it is necessary to disclose the facts to the world in their entirety.” It might have several different features to it. Some people will perceive one element, while others will see it from a different angle. People, who think this film isn’t up to par are free to make another one… who’s preventing them?” Modi remarked.

The Prime Minister slammed critics for peddling various conspiracy theories to shamelessly deny the brutal genocide of Hindus in the 1990s, saying that these people are astounded that the truth, which had been hidden for so long, has finally come out in the open, and with facts to back up the claims.

“People learn the facts and who was accountable for historical events through such films.” “Films like these aim to show who exploited or who did the right thing,” Prime Minister Modi said, praising the filmmakers’ efforts to bring to light a brutal truth that had been hidden for years.

PM Modi went on to say that more good films portraying Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts and ideals should have been made for the world to learn more about him. “People make lofty statements about freedom of speech and expression, but have you ever watched a film about the 1975 Emergency? Why? Because the truth has been suppressed continuously.

He went on to say that when the government announced August 14 as Partition Horrors Remembrance Day in India, this specific “ecosystem” reacted negatively. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the agony inflicted by the country’s partition must be forgotten, and that the day honors the people of India’s efforts and sacrifices. My announcement, on the other hand, disturbed these individuals. According to Modi, the split was a historic event, but no one has dared to produce a film on it.

Deniers of genocide, including liberals, are smearing the country. Files from Kashmir

Vivek Agnihotri’s latest film, The Kashmir Files, has thrown the liberal pigeons into a tizzy. The picture, which had been mostly neglected before its release, has astounded everyone with its massive box office success. With success comes sceptics, and Kashmir Files has enough of the people who tried to reject the entire plot as fiction, even though it is based on true events.

The Congress party had officially stepped in to protect the radical Islamists who carried out the genocide of the Kashmiri Hindu minority in 1990, disturbed by the popularity of Kashmir Files and the public’s reaction to it.

On January 19, 1990, mosques in Kashmir issued a warning to Kashmiri Hindus, referring to them as Kafirs, in the wake of recurrent attacks against the minority Hindu community. They could either flee Kashmir, convert to Islam, or be slaughtered.

Although it has been more than 30 years, the misery, anguish, and tears of tens of thousands of Kashmiri Pandits continue to reverberate throughout the valley. According to reports, Islamists assassinated roughly 219 Kashmiri Pandits. According to a poll conducted by the Hindu American Foundation, the number of Kashmiri Pandits who fled the valley during the 1990s could be as high as 300,000.

During that time, not only were Hindus driven out of Kashmir, but temples were desecrated, homes were burned to the ground, and millions were displaced.

School principals to hoist the national flag following administrative delays.

The Flag Hoisting

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has cancelled invitations extended to newly elected corporators for Republic Day flag-hoisting ceremonies in civic schools this year, citing administrative and procedural delays.

Although the municipal elections have concluded, the first general body meeting of the newly elected corporators is yet to take place. In view of this, the NMMC education department has issued revised instructions for the January 26 celebrations across all municipal schools. As per the new directive, school principals will themselves conduct the flag-hoisting ceremonies, and corporators will not be invited to preside over the events.

Officials clarified that any earlier circulars or communications instructing schools to invite corporators should be treated as cancelled. In cases where invitation letters have already been sent, school principals have been directed to inform the concerned corporators about the revised decision and explain the administrative reasons behind the change.

The move has been described as a temporary arrangement until formal procedures related to the newly elected body are completed. The education department has emphasized that the decision is purely administrative and not political in nature.

Despite the change, the NMMC has instructed all schools to ensure that Republic Day celebrations are conducted with full enthusiasm, discipline and respect for national values. Principals have been asked to strictly adhere to the guidelines and ensure smooth conduct of the programme.

The decision has drawn attention as it comes soon after the municipal elections, highlighting the impact of procedural delays on official civic events.

Garbage Piles Become Major Issue Ahead of Uran Elections

Published

on

With the Uran civic elections approaching, local residents and political observers are raising serious concerns about the persistent garbage problem across the area. Overflowing waste on main roads and traffic lanes has emerged as a key issue in the election campaign, with voters expressing frustration over poor civic management.

Several key thoroughfares in Uran, especially around busy intersections and residential localities, have been seen strewn with garbage that has not been collected for days. Piles of waste are causing traffic disruptions, foul odour and unhygienic conditions, prompting complaints from commuters, shopkeepers and local residents.

Civic activists and opposition leaders have criticised the local administration for its failure to ensure regular garbage collection and proper waste disposal. They say that poor sanitation has not only affected the appearance of the town but also posed health risks, especially during peak summer months.

Residents pointed out that despite repeated assurances from officials, garbage is frequently left uncollected in several areas, leading to water logging and breeding of insects. Many voters have highlighted this issue as a priority concern affecting their daily lives and have demanded immediate action from authorities.

Political parties contesting the Uran elections have responded by promising stricter monitoring of waste collection, improvement in street cleaning, and deployment of more resources for solid waste management.

As election day approaches, garbage disposal and civic cleanliness have become central themes in public discussions, reflecting growing citizen demand for improved basic services and accountable governance.
