Police Are Praised As Real-Life Heroes By Actor Swapnil Joshi In Navi Mumbai
Actor Swapnil Joshi inaugurated the new traffic beat marshal in Navi Mumbai.
The Traffic Department
Renowned actor Swapnil Joshi underlined the significant role that police play in society, emphasizing that although the work that police officers undertake is genuine and important, it is not shown on film. “The police are on duty to ensure our protection during festivals. “They are the real-life heroes,” Joshi said at a Police Commissionerate function in CBD Belapur.
The occasion commemorated the launch of the most recent project of the Navi Mumbai Traffic Department, the Traffic Beat Marshal, which included the acquisition of twenty contemporary two-wheelers for the department’s fleet. With the use of these new motorcycles, traffic police officers will be more effective and responsive, allowing them to respond swiftly to traffic congestion and offer emergency aid at accident scenes.
Several high-ranking police officers graced the inauguration ceremony: Joint Commissioner of Police Sanjay Yenpure, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sanjay Kumar Patil, Deputy Commissioner of Police Tirupati Kakade, Deputy Commissioner of the Special Branch Rashmi Nandedkar, and Upper Commissioner of Police (Crime) Deepak Sakore.
During his speech, Swapnil Joshi commended the dignity and honor that come with wearing a police uniform. He applauded the Traffic Beat Marshal program, pointing out that it gives traffic police the ability to react to occurrences quickly, enhancing public safety.
Joint Chief of Police Sanjay Yenpure also spoke at the occasion, emphasizing how crucial it is to strike a balance between the legal system and societal norms and sensitivities. He said that police, military, and paramilitary troops are heroes in their own right and noted that the public is strongly drawn to the police department. Noting that the new approach will greatly improve the service offered to the public, Yenpure praised it. In doing their jobs as beat marshals, he also advised traffic police personnel to put their own safety first.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Tirupati Kakade is leading the Traffic Beat Marshal effort to improve patrols in Navi Mumbai’s internal roads and highways. The twenty additional two-wheelers will be deployed on twenty main thoroughfares and roads, guaranteeing prompt help to needy individuals and a prompt reaction to traffic-related situations.
