On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that, in contrast to other governments, his administration views scale and speed as India’s strengths.

In addition, he emphasised that for India to grow, both the nation’s physical and social infrastructures needed to be strengthened.

“India is operating at a higher level in all areas, including governance and the creation of a physical and digital infrastructure. Was it ever imaginable eight years ago? The world is in awe of the advancements India has achieved in the digital payments system.” Added Modi.

Speaking at a large public gathering in Bengaluru, he claimed that before 2014, all of these things, including Made in India and 5G technology, were unimaginable.

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during the past three years, Karnataka has drawn investments of around Rs 4 lakh crore, and in terms of attracting foreign direct investments (FDIs), the state took the lead in 2018. He had just inaugurated terminal 2 of the nearby international airport and unveiled a 108-foot monument of Bengaluru’s founder, “Nadaprabhu” Kempegowda.

At KSR Railway Station, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signalled the departure of the Vande Bharat Express and Bharat Gaurav Kashi Darshan Train. On the grounds of Vidhana Soudha, he also presented flower offerings to the sculptures of the saint poet Kanaka Dasa and Maharshi Valmiki.

He claimed that the train represented a new India and offered a peek of what Indian railways might look like in the twenty-first century.

He said, “More than 400 Vande Bharat trains, Vistadome carriages would become the new identity of Indian railroads.” He stated that his administration intends transformation of Indian railways in the following 8–10 years.

He emphasised the modernization of railroad stations around the nation, particularly in the state, and added that dedicated freight routes for goods trains will quicken travel and save time.

Connection between cities is crucial for a developed India, and it is imperative that air connectivity be increased, according to Modi. India is the market for air travel that is expanding the quickest, and as the country advances, the number of passengers is also rising.

According to him, the number of airports in the nation has increased from from 70 in 2014 to more than 140 now.

The endeavour, according to the prime minister, would be to ensure that Bengaluru develops along the lines that its founder Nadaprabhu Kempegowda had envisioned.

As per Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bengaluru is a “international metropolis” that has to be developed with cutting-edge infrastructure while maintaining its cultural legacy. He thought back to Kempegowda’s plans for the growth of Bengaluru’s settlement, which had convenience, culture, and commerce at their centre.
