What was once a happy household now echoes with silence and sorrow. The tragic suicide of 39-year-old Ravindra Shinde, driven by the burden of a small debt, has left his family devastated and his children fatherless.

The Help

A once-happy family has been shattered by a tragic incident that highlights the grim realities of debt-related distress. Ravindra Shinde, a 39-year-old resident of Sector 19, Kopkhairane, Navi Mumbai, ended his life, reportedly due to the unbearable pressure of a mere Rs 25,000 debt. His family alleges that the relentless harassment and mental torture over a total debt of Rs 25,000 led to his suicide.

The heart-breaking suicide note left behind by the late Ravindra Shinde reportedly includes a plea for help and justice addressed to Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. In this moment of deep grief, Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena, under the leadership of District President Kishore Patkar, extended both emotional and financial support to the grieving family. An aid of ₹10 lakh was provided to the family, with assurances of continued support.

Kishore Patkar, in an emotionally charged gesture, offered comfort to the children who have now lost their father and stated, “Shiv Sena stands like a rock behind the family of Ravindra Shinde. Humanity demands we help those in need.” He also mentioned that the financial aid is to be used towards the children’s education through a fixed deposit.

Family members expressed heartfelt gratitude to Deputy CM Shinde and the Shiv Sena for their timely help. Also present during the support initiative were Shiv Sena’s women’s wing district coordinator Sheetal Kachare and party worker Rishikesh Patil.
