Police Catches the Burglar who was Connected With Several Thefts in Navi Mumbai

A Burglar who was involved in more than 12 Burglaries was finally arrested by the Nerul Police in Navi Mumbai.

A burglar who had been frightening the Nerul region by breaking into houses during the day has been arrested by Nerul police, marking a big breakthrough. The 24-year-old suspect, Nitishkumar Ramchandra Das, was taken into custody in Ulwe following an intense four-month surveillance mission. Twelve burglaries that were carried out within the jurisdiction of the Nerul Police Station have been solved by the police after his arrest. Police have apprehended the offender and successfully retrieved stolen goods worth Rs. 10,23,000 in value.

Previously working as a worker, Nitishkumar Das took up the clever approach. He would search the neighborhood after lunch for empty residences, break a door open, and take valuables. He has successfully broken into twelve residences in Nerul in the last ten months.

In response to a spike in burglaries at homes in Nerul, the Crime Investigation Squad and Senior Police Inspector Tanaji Bhagat conducted a thorough manhunt. To find the culprit, they used technological analysis in addition to close examination of CCTV video. For four months, Nitish Kumar’s regular moves were the subject of constant observation.

The breakthrough occurred when the authorities used CCTV video from the railway station to identify Nitishkumar. After learning of his location, they responded quickly, & arrested him in Ulwe. His involvement in 12 house burglaries in Nerul was confirmed during further investigation. Gold, laptops hard drives, jewelry, and other stolen goods were among the numerous items found in the police’s sizable stash.

After each burglary, the investigation showed that the accused intended to flee to his home village in Darbhanga, Bihar. Using the money he had gained via robbery, he celebrated with pals there. Some of the stolen money was also used for gambling. When Nitishkumar revealed that he had handed his buddy Sundarkumar some stolen goods, it sparked a hunt for that particular person.
