NMMC To Hold Lokshahi Din On March 3 At Belapur HQ.

The LokShahi Din

The next Lokshahi Din is an occasion for citizens who are eager to demand accountability, openness, and involvement from the local government about their concerns.

The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) will hold its monthly Lokshahi Din (Democracy Day) at the NMMC Headquarters in Belapur on March 3 in accordance with state regulations.

According to an official, the goal of this project is to give residents a forum to directly address their complaints and issues with the local government.

By February 17, citizens who are eager to voice their concerns must submit their applications. The official said that two copies must be sent to the commissioner with the subject line “Application for Lokshahi Din” on the front page, as part of a defined procedure.

The complaints must be about a single issue pertaining to a certain department. The topics discussed in Lok Shahi Din will be those that the relevant department failed to address. Subjudice cases, appeals pertaining to income, service businesses, and employment issues, however, would not be taken into consideration, the officer stated.

The Public Relations Department is now offering the required Lokshahi Din application form for free. The form is also available for download on the official NMMC website for the convenience of the public.
