Is the Congress now a recognised Islamic political party the film Kashmir Files following the Kerala Congress
The enormous success of Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files, a movie based on the extermination of Kashmiri Hindus, has pushed all so-called leftist liberals and Islamist apologists off their game, along with the grand old Congress party, which has officially decided to step in to defend the Muslim extremists who carried it out.
The Congress in Kerala first tried to blame the BJP for the genocide, then the party’s media head in Chhattisgarh effectively exonerated the Islamists who carried it out, and now the party’s senior leader Jairam Ramesh has gone on to not only dismiss the veracity of the Kashmiri Hindu genocide but also to cast doubt on the film-makers’ sincere efforts to expose the unspoken and harsh truth about the Islamic terror in the valley in the 1990s
The senior Congressman resorted to Twitter on Saturday, March 19, to criticize the creators of The Kashmir Files. He stated the film “incites hatred.” He went on to term the film propaganda because it “twists facts, distorts history to stir up resentment and foment violence,” and its producers “Pracharaks” (propagandists) who use fear and prejudice to divide and control.
“Some films are catalysts for change. The Kashmir Files incites racial hatred. Justice, rehabilitation, reconciliation, and peace may all result from the truth. To incite rage and promote violence, propaganda bends facts and distorts history. Statesmen can cure wounds. Fear and hatred are used by Pracharaks to divide and dominate,” the senior Congress leader tweeted.
Since the film’s publication, multiple first-generation Kashmiri victims have come forward to confirm that the film is entirely based on reality and facts. After viewing the video, several victims wept, demonstrating how relevant it was to them. In addition, the ‘Jagmohan theory,’ which Congress has continued to use to accuse the BJP of the Kashmiri Hindu Genocide, has been refuted a million times over the previous three decades. Despite this, disgruntled Congress members have been either disputing the film’s truthfulness and discrediting the filmmakers or blaming the BJP for the slaughter since its publication.
The Congress in Chhattisgarh has once again blamed the BJP for the genocide of Kashmiri Hindus.
“We want people to go and watch the movie and realize that the scenario emerged in the country when VP Singh was PM and the BJP was in favor of him,” Sushil Anand Shukla, the Congress’s media chief in Chhattisgarh, was reported as saying on March 15. The Governor of Jammu and Kashmir was a BJP politician, and the state was under President’s control, hence the BJP was indirectly ruling the state.”
It’s awful that the party is eager to blame everyone else to deflect accountability from the terrorists who carried out the slaughter.
How well the Kerala Congress posed as terrorist sympathizers to criticize the BJP and the creators of The Kashmir Files
Similarly, the official Congress Kerala handle accused everyone from Governor Jagmohan to the BJP of the massacre in a lengthy diatribe on March 14. The Congress party began its outburst by downplaying the entire Kashmiri Hindu massacre, according to a Twitter thread from their official Congress Kerala feed. Terrorists killed 399 Kashmiri Hindus, compared to 15,000 Muslims slain in the valley by terrorism during the previous three decades.
To put things into perspective, tens of thousands of Kashmiri Hindus were compelled to flee their valley virtually overnight, abandoning their possessions. Mosques issued statements urging Kashmiri Hindu males to flee the valley, abandoning their wives. The valley resonated with slogans like “convert (to Islam), do or die.” Congress blatantly ignores the fact that Kashmiri Hindus were forced to flee their homes rather than choosing to do so.
Then Congress blamed Governor Jagmohan, the man who spared Kashmiri Hindus from a destiny far worse than emigration. The “Jagmohan idea” is a long-standing deception perpetrated by Congress and its cabal to absolve Islamists of responsibility for their acts in 1990.
This conversation went on to claim that Kashmiri Hindus were not targeted and that they, like everyone else, were victims of terrorism.
As if that weren’t enough, the Congress managed to make Jammu inhabitants into villains by saying that Kashmiri Muslims were killed in Jammu during partition. This indicates that Islamic terrorists’ massacre of Kashmiri Pandits is acceptable since “Muslims were also slaughtered.”

Residents Raise Alarm Over Cigarette Sales to Students
Seawoods residents seek strict action against tobacco sales near educational institutions and public spaces.
The Cigarette Sales
Residents of Sector 25, Seawoods, Nerul, have raised concerns over students allegedly smoking in public places and the suspected sale of cigarettes to minors.
Following repeated complaints, the ward officer and local police conducted a raid at a paan shop on the ground floor of Ambika Heights on the night of September 11. Officials reportedly found cigarette cartons at the shop, but no other illegal intoxicating substances.
Residents said students, reportedly aged between 17 and 22, are frequently seen smoking near Seawoods railway station, the bridge and other public areas. They suspect that a local paan shop may be supplying cigarettes to college students. Prakash Yawalkar, president of the Seawoods Citizens Welfare Association, said students were openly smoking outside the shop, raising concerns among residents and parents.
The association has submitted complaints to the local police, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation, mayor, local representatives and the Drug Department. It has urged authorities to strictly enforce the law prohibiting tobacco sales to minors and increase monitoring around schools, colleges and other student gathering points.
Residents said stronger action is needed to prevent tobacco use among young people and ensure that public spaces remain safe and healthy.
