Speeding car with Indian Navy sticker hits multiple parked vehicles.
The Case in Detail
At around 8.30 p.m. on Saturday, a fast vehicle at Devkrupa Chowk in Uran drove off the road and crashed into several parked cars, injuring at least two individuals who were close. This was an example of reckless driving. Another man is seen on CCTV just escaping by leaping into the road.
The Honda City left the scene without making a halt to tend to the injured onlookers or damaged cars.
When Kalpesh Thakur first reported the incident to us, we counselled him to get medical help. But he didn’t come back. The driver of the automobile, registration number HR 12-S-5000, was charged with reckless driving on Sunday when a hand cart puller who had been hurt and whose cart was destroyed came forward, according to senior police inspector Jitendra Misal of the Uran police station.
Police conducted an inquiry and found that Simaran Dahiya, the principal of Uran Education Society (UES) School, owned the vehicle in question. According to reports, Ishika Dahiya, an MBA student from Belapur, and her partner, Vipul were the only occupants of the car. Ishika may have been driving, as reported by witnesses, although this has not been verified. The police are currently following the car’s path to ascertain who was driving and whether the driver was intoxicated. After being located, a notification will be given to the motorist.
The police also stated that their testimony will be included to the case for any other victims who come forward. The authorities saw that the girl’s father is a member of the Indian Navy and that the automobile bore a ‘Indian Navy’ emblem.

Online Gaming Addiction Leaves Navi Mumbai Man Claiming Rs 2.5 Crore Loss
Jayesh Pawar alleges massive financial losses and urges authorities to act against gaming platforms.
The Addiction
The growing popularity of online gaming for quick money is raising concerns in Navi Mumbai, with one resident claiming that he lost around Rs 2.5 crore after becoming trapped in the cycle of online gaming.
Navi Mumbai resident Jayesh Pawar has approached the authorities seeking action, alleging that he suffered huge financial losses through online gaming platforms. He also claimed that he lost around Rs 35 lakh at one stage while trying to recover earlier losses.
According to Pawar, the problem often begins with small bets. Initial wins can create confidence, encouraging players to invest larger amounts. Once losses begin, players may put in even more money in the hope of recovering what they have already lost.
Pawar claimed that he is not the only person facing such difficulties. He said several young people have reportedly lost lakhs and even crores through online gaming. Some, he alleged, borrowed money or sold property to continue playing.
The issue has also raised concerns about the wider impact of gaming addiction, including financial stress and problems within families. Pawar has urged the authorities to investigate such platforms and take appropriate action. His case has highlighted the need for greater awareness about the risks of chasing quick profits through online gaming.
