Munawwar Rana reacts to Kumar Vishwas’ allegations that Kejriwal is supporting Khalistanis

Published

In the heat of the Punjab Assembly Elections on Saturday, poet Munawwar Rana criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, saying that Kejriwal can do anything for power. He claimed that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was the one who claimed he would never enter politics but instead utilized the BJP to build his empire.

Arvind Kejriwal was heavily involved in organizing political strategies during activist Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption hunger strike in Delhi in 2011, according to Rana in an exclusive interview. He went on to say that Kejriwal took advantage of the circumstances to gain political power via deception.

Munawwar Rana, when questioned about Kumar Vishwas’ claims against Kejriwal amid the Punjab elections, claimed that the allegations may be real and that Kejriwal could do anything to get power. On February 16, poet Kumar Vishwas chastised Kejriwal for supporting separatists. “Kejriwal said at one time that he will either become Chief Minister of Punjab or the first Prime Minister of an independent nation (Khalistan),” Vishwas remarked.

Poet Munawwar Rana expressed confidence in Kumar Vishwas, saying that Arvind Kejriwal can certainly say such. “Vishwas and Kejriwal had been good friends for a long time. Kejriwal and Vishwas probably discussed the idea of an independent nation. Maybe he’ll be in a better mood, but he’ll be able to accomplish it,” Rana said.

Rana went on to say that he had requested Kejriwal to consider Kumar Vishwas for the Rajya Sabha, but Sanjay Singh of the AAP was given the opportunity instead. “Singh is a fantastic character. But the AAP “deliberately passed up an opportunity to elect someone energetic and chatty (Vishwas) to the Rajya Sabha,” he added, adding that Vishwas’ statements had nothing to do with his rejection.

Munawwar Rana said that Arvind Kejriwal would do something to keep power, saying that if Vishwas had to quote against Kejriwal for political purposes, he would never do so. “If he (Vishwas) wanted to be in harsh politics, he could have gotten the job by joining any other political party, such as the BJP or the Congress.” He is a talented poet who never lies. He remarked, “Whatever he claimed about Kejriwal might be 100% genuine.”

When speaking about Kejriwal’s efforts in the Punjab assembly elections on February 16, Kumar Vishwas remarked that Kejriwal supports separatists and that they aided AAP in the previous elections.

In past elections, he had also emphasized Kejriwal’s deep-seated separatism and claimed that AAP was supported by ISI and other international groups.

In 2018, Republic TV discovered that Khalistani organizations have contributed to AAP’s electoral campaign in Punjab. On February 20, 2022, the Punjab Legislative Assembly conducted elections to elect the 117 members of the 16th Assembly of the Punjab Legislative Assembly. On March 10, 2022, the votes will be tallied and the results will be announced.
